Behind the Image

I’ve always been curious. I’m drawn to the details people sometimes walk past—the lines of a building, the character of an old machine, the energy of a street, the way light changes an ordinary scene, or the unexpected perspective that makes you stop and look again. Photography gives me a reason to explore those moments.

DARimages grew from that curiosity. For me, photography isn’t only about capturing beautiful places. It’s about paying attention. Looking closer. Changing perspective. Finding something interesting in the familiar and discovering stories in places I’ve never been before. My camera has become another way for me to explore, learn, and document what catches my attention. Some images are about a place. Some are about a detail. Others simply capture a moment that felt worth remembering. But I wanted the photographs to have a life beyond a screen or a gallery.

That idea became another part of DARimages: transforming selected photographs into wearable art. A photograph can become something you live with, wear, share, and perhaps even connect with because it reminds you of a place, an experience, or a story of your own.
